Are you on a journey, but don’t know where the destination is? Are you wondering what your purpose is? Are you uncertain whether you can make a
difference in this world? Do you have questions about how to live life successfully? How to navigate on your journey?

Life is a journey and not a destination. Everyone who lives on this planet is on a journey. People are not just born, exist and then die. There is something
more to living, something bigger than many realize. There is a loving God Who wants to have a personal relationship with us and has a wonderful plan for
us.

Jeremiah 29:11 AMP  For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to
give you hope in your final outcome.

God wants to help us on our life journey. He wants us to experience abundant life.

Psalms 37:23 NKJV  The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, And He delights in his way.

John 10:10 NKJV  The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more
abundantly.

What kind of church is Journey Church?

Journey Church is a contemporary church. Our body of believers is diverse, and comes from various denominations and backgrounds. Journey seeks to
offer vital help in assisting us to accomplish our mission in various areas of life.

What are we all about at Journey Church?
Our mission is to Honor God, Build Believers, and Touch Lives.

What can I expect at Journey?

You can expect a group of people who will love you and welcome you. You will meet different types of people, from various backgrounds, on their journey
with Christ. You will experience worship that is vibrant and relevant, teaching that is helpful and inspiring, and an environment where you can come as you
are and be accepted. In short, you will find a place where you can be comfortable. If you have children, they will thrive in class where they will enjoy a multi-
media curriculum, puppets, characters, games and crafts that help them on their journey in life.

Want to know more about Journey Church?

On June 4, 2000, Ray and Lisa Taylor gathered with a small group of people in the West Plains Civic Center for their first service as pastors of West
Plains Family Church. Since then, locations have moved, the name has changed and dreams have expanded, but the purpose remains the same: Honor
God. Build Believers. Touch Lives.

Today, nearly a dozen years later, what is now known as Journey Church is a thriving, multi-generational community that invites people to discover God’s
plan for their lives and achieve peace on earth.

We have moved from the Civic Center to a small rented church building, to a leased 10,400 sq ft building, to a church building that we now call home. We
worship in an comfortable sanctuary in a casual atmosphere that is very comfortable. Our sanctuary will seat over 120.

We are renovating the building we purchased in the Fall of 2014. We have plans for a children’s sanctuary that is an adventure. The kids will enter
through a 15 ft long cave into a rain forest themed auditorium. We also are planning a youth room with full kitchen, lounge area and game area.

We are finishing a preschool classroom, a nursery, nursing mother’s room, prayer room, bookstore/lending library and administration offices. Journey
Church also has a location in Mammoth Spring, AR.

With the expansion of our ministry have come more opportunities to share the love of God, including a mid-week service in Mammoth Spring, an internet
broadcast and archived messages, and support of global mission projects. Journey’s goal is that ministry would not be confined to one service or one
building, but that our faith would permeate every area of our lives. After all of these years, we look back with thankfulness. We stand with renewed
purpose. And we now push ahead with hope and trust in the continued faithfulness of God.
